Friend­ship Senior Options Foun­da­tion Sup­ports Benev­o­lent Care

The Friend­ship Senior Options Foun­da­tion announced that they have approved a grant of $100,000 to sup­port their Benev­o­lent Care Fund. The Foun­da­tion is the phil­an­thropic affil­i­ate of Friend­ship Senior Options and its senior liv­ing com­mu­ni­ties, Friend­ship Vil­lage of Schaum­burg and Green­Fields of Geneva. 

As Life Plan Com­mu­ni­ties, Friend­ship Vil­lage and Green­Fields ensure that res­i­dents have access to increas­ing lev­els of care should their health needs change. The senior liv­ing com­mu­ni­ties offer inde­pen­dent liv­ing, assist­ed liv­ing, mem­o­ry sup­port, reha­bil­i­ta­tion, and long-term skilled care. The Benev­o­lent Care Fund offers Life Care res­i­dents, the secu­ri­ty and peace of mind know­ing that they can con­tin­ue to reside in their com­mu­ni­ty and access the ser­vices they need, even if their finan­cial resources are exhaust­ed. The com­mit­ment to benev­o­lence stems from the organization’s core val­ue of friend­ship and the ded­i­ca­tion to treat­ing oth­ers with dig­ni­ty, respect, and kindness.

The Friend­ship Senior Options Foun­da­tion was found­ed to fos­ter an envi­ron­ment of giv­ing in order to enrich the lives of seniors. Cen­tered in the spir­it of friend­ship, the Foun­da­tion val­ues and pro­motes com­pas­sion, edu­ca­tion, and the advance­ment of the qual­i­ty of life for old­er adults, and the growth and devel­op­ment of the ded­i­cat­ed pro­fes­sion­als who serve them. The Foun­da­tion is built on three pil­lars that dri­ve its mis­sion: benev­o­lence, edu­ca­tion and the arts, and cap­i­tal initiatives.
